FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS 1. Do curly hair require specific cuts/color services and treatments?A. Each type of curly hair has specific needs that must be understood in order to perform cuts, color services, and specific treatments suited to this particular hair type.

2. Is the SDL line suitable for all curl types?A. Yes. Best results are achieved on wavy to curly hair. For coily (very curly) hair, we recommend a specific treatment. Before cleansing, distribute SDL MULTI-BENEFIT OIL over lengths and ends, leaving it on for 30 minutes. Cleanse with SDL HYDRATING CO-WASH, apply SDL ENHANCING MASK, and follow with SDL DEFINING CREAM. For the gloss phase, apply SDL MULTI-BENEFIT OIL.

3. How can I combine Curls axis products with other Semi di Limo axis?A. Based on a personalized diagnosis, we will evaluate the scalp, the condition of the hair fiber, and the desired curl definition. During the cleansing and treatment phases, the most suitable Semi di Lino products will be applied. For the leave-in phase, we always recommend applying SDL CURLS DEFINING CREAM or SDL CURLS ENHANCING CONDITIONER, depending on the thickness of the hair, and as a finishing touch, SDL MULTI-BENEFIT OIL.

4. If I have wavy or curly hair and a scalp problem (e.g. dandruff), how do I choose the best treatment?A. For the cleansing phase, use the most suitable SDL Scalp product. For the treatment, use SDL CURLS ENHANCING CONDITIONER or ENHANCING MASK, followed by the Scalp line leave-in products, toner, or ampoule, depending on your needs. Finally, we recommend applying the CURLS leave-in products, most suited to curly hair, to the lengths and ends, and then styling.

5. What is a Co-wash?A. The name is short for Conditioner Wash, meaning it's a "cleansing conditioner." It's a type of product that performs a cleansing action combined with a nourishing and conditioning action. The co-wash from the CURLS line, SDL CURLS HYDRATING CO-WASH, is characterized by good cleansing power, without foaming, and promotes a nourishing and detangling action, cleansing and respecting the balance of curls during the wash phase.

6. What differentiates SDL CURLS MULTI-BENEFIT OIL from SDL LIQUID CRYSTALS and SDL SILK CRYSTALS?R. SDL MULTI BENEFIT OIL is a multi-action oil with an anti-frizz effect, essential for restoring the hydration and elasticity needed for beautiful curly hair. 8. What type of drying is best for curly hair?A. Before drying, pat your hair dry with the microfiber towel, working from bottom to top, squeezing your hair between your fingers. The special microfiber fabric reduces mechanical friction and releases more water, creating the ideal starting point for a well-defined, frizz- and tangle-free blow-dry. Remember to keep your drying tools at a medium temperature while using them.
