Skin Refining Enzyme Peel contains subtilisin, a specific, biologically produced protase that can dissolve proteins. It is only on the surface of the skin that the enzymes exert their activity: they remove the cementing material between the keratin cells of the stratum corneum, effectively mimicking the skin's metabolic process.
The biochemical mechanism of cell dissolution leads to increased cell regeneration and ultimately smoother skin.
Application
Apply SKIN REFINING ENZYME PEELING to face, neck, and décolleté and massage or leave on for about 10 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with a warm, damp cloth. It can be left on overnight and rinsed off in the morning.
Note: Any peel makes your skin sensitive to UV light. Therefore, be sure to wear adequate UV protection. Apply Face Guard Advanced during the day.
Active Ingredients
Subtilisin: This biotechnologically derived enzyme dissolves protein compounds between the cells of the stratum corneum, promoting the peeling process of the epidermis.
