1-PREPARATION OF THE HAIR STEM
Wash your hair by massaging the scalp lightly and wash it 2 times with theAnti-Residue Shampoo, leave on for 3 minutes, shampoo a second time only if the hair has a curl intensity above level 5 (from wavy to tight curls).
After wetting your hair and applying the Anti Residue shampoo, do not emulsify it with more water, but massage it in carefully.
2-DRYING
After shampooing, pat your hair dry with a towel and dry as described:
- Natural hair, dry 90% with a hairdryer at the roots, leaving the lengths and ends damp.
- For colored hair, blow dry 50% of the roots, leaving the ends damper.
- For highlighted, bleached, or damaged hair, towel-dry only, without using a hairdryer.
3-DIVISIONS
Divide hair into 6 sections, shake the bottle very wellBrazilian EcoKeratinand pour the contents into a glass bowl.
4-APPLICATION AND PROCESSING
Apply with a Brazilian EcoKeratin brush (2) starting from under the nape of the neck, taking locks no higher than one centimetre in height. Once the product has been applied to the lock, massage it with your hands to help it penetrate better. Use a tail comb to ensure even distribution of the product and remove any excess. If the lengths and ends dry out during application of the product, moisten them with water.
5-EXPOSURE TIMES
Once you have applied the product, comb your hair back, wait 30 minutes and check if the hair is ready to be styled.
How to check:
- Take a small strand, about the diameter of a toothpick, tie a knot in the middle of the strand, trying to tighten it.
- The knot MUST remain closed and not open. If it tends to open, wait another 10 minutes.
- Proceed with drying only after the knot remains closed, in this case we have made the structure malleable.
- The processing time can vary from hair to hair, depending on the different structures and treatments they have undergone.
6- PREPARATION DRYING
Dry your hair completely with your fingers and a hairdryer until it's 80% dry. Finish with a brush and hairdryer, maintaining a medium heat setting with a high speed.
7.1-SHAPE YOUR HAIR
Divide your head into six sections and take the first strand, starting from the nape of your neck. The strand should be no thicker than half a centimeter. For a smooth result, you'll need a specific straightener, with temperatures ranging from 170°C to 230°C.
The temperature of the plate is chosen according to the condition of the hair:
- Natural hair from 205-215°C
- Colored hair 200°C
- Damaged hair with highlights 180-190°C.
7.2-PLATING METHOD
Once you've created the section, hold it at a 90° angle to the scalp with your left hand, passing the straightener from the base to the mid-length a dozen times, avoiding the ends. This way, you won't lose heat at the base, as you'll only be working on the first part of the section. This will allow you to achieve the smoothest result possible.
When working the first strand, skip the length and tip. Then, take the next upper strand, which you will work like the previous one, leaving out the length and tip.
Once we've finished straightening the first part of the second strand, we'll join the two together and straighten both the lengths and the ends, about 7/8 times.
8-THE RINSE
Before rinsing your hair, let it cool for at least 5 minutes to avoid excessive temperature changes, which would prevent the cuticles from closing properly. Pat dry thoroughly after rinsing.
9-CONDITION THE STRUCTURE
Apply to towel-dried hair,Deep Conditioning Mask, and leave on for 5 to 10 minutes, massaging and combing for better distribution of the product.
10-FINAL RINSE
Rinse well and proceed with styling, which can be done in the following ways:
- With your fingers, holding the hair dryer from top to bottom. - With the brush and hair dryer.
- With the plate to give movement.Hair can be washed 24 hours after the end of the treatment, with specific Cadiveu Anti Frizz shampoo.
NB
If the plate has worn out for more than two years, I recommend purchasing a specific one to perform the Brasil Cacau service.
